As captain of the volleyball team, Thalia inspired her teammates through her endless hustle and impeccable mental attitude. Even in the toughest matches, Thalia always kept her composure and pushed herself and teammates, never giving up, always fighting until the end. Coaches from other teams often stopped the coach after matches to compliment Thalia and the presence she brought to the court. Off the court, she volunteers at the Denver Rescue Mission and has participated in numerous community service projects through the National Honor Society. Thalia’s attention to detail, organization, and follow through make her an exemplary student! Her kindness, empathy, and joyful spirit make her an exceptional human!
She is taking her 4.6 GPA to Regis and would like to play volleyball. She plans to apply to the Nursing Program at Regis after her 1st year and would like to work either in Labor and Delivery or Neonatal.
